How Did We Start?
So glad you asked! Our organization was established in 2023 as a way for our founder, Amaya Perkins, to share an interactive journal for chronic illness warriors that they developed and presented at the Young Minds Matter: Transforming Our Communities Collectively conference in November of 2023.
In February of 2024, Alps Creative Co. filed for LLC status and officially launched our website with our new member and group areas. It is our hope that we can inspire individuals to start advocating for social justice in areas they are passionate about. We will continue to fight for a world that is equitable and accessible for all.

Growing and Evolving
Our founder worked hard to come up with concepts and thought about what legal structure Alps Creative Co. should have.
LLC Status & Official Founding
Alps Creative Co. officially became an LLC in February of 2024 to further our mission and reach.
Here we go!
Alps Creative Co. will be an exhibitor at this year's Thrive Fest, an event celebrating youth mental health.
Meet Our Team
Amaya Perkins she/they
Founder and Executive Director
Amaya is a champion for social justice, equal rights, and advocating for those in marginalized communities. As a queer individual with a chronic illness, Amaya is all too familiar with legislation and politicians that aim to strip individuals of their basic human rights.
Amaya is on a mission to advocate for inclusive, accessible, and equitable environments for all youth and young adults. After being diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and an unknown autoimmune disease at the age of nineteen, she became determined to find a way to ensure that youth and young adults who are diagnosed with chronic illnesses have access to resources and accessible spaces to mitigate the negative impact a diagnosis (or lack thereof) can have on one's mental health.
As a pivotal election is on the horizon, Amaya is working non-stop to fight for human rights and ensure that those in the LGBTQ+ community have access to safe and inclusive environments. They refuse to stop until individuals of all identities and abilities are provided with equitable and accessible opportunities and are afforded basic human rights.
